PLK Design Ltd offers architectural design, planning and management services for all kinds of home alterations and extensions, including loft or garage conversions, one or two storey extensions, new garages, outbuildings, summer houses, conservatories, porches and swimming pools and more.
INITIAL CONSULTATION.
Our initial meeting and consultation with you is free of charge and without obligation. We will submit a fixed fee proposal and timelines setting out our service and staged payment schedule and will keep you informed at all stages of the process.
PLANNING
PLK Design liaise with with local authorities and prepare the necessary architectural drawings and specifications and then make the applications as required for Building Regulations approval and for use in procuring a building contractor and specialise in obtaining planning approval in Conservation Areas, the Green Belt, Listed and Locally Listed Buildings.
LIAISING WITH OTHER PROFESSIONALS
We work on your behalf with a carefully selected and long established team of highly experienced specialist consultants for services including Structural Engineering, Arboricultural Surveying, Geotechnical Analysis, Topographical Surveys and Biodiversity Appraisals. We will procure these services from a team of long standing consultancy partners on your behalf and coordinate their work as part of the overall project design service
CHOOSING THE RIGHT BUILDER
Advice and guidance during the construction phase is included in our basic service.
Once we've designed your project and planning permission is granted we can help you to select the right builder and help manage the construction process for you, in addition to our standard architectural planning service.
